One thing Heron Bay residents enjoy is a nice social gathering! Regularly throughout the year, various events are held for children or adults, or both together. This year’s Easter Extravaganza was particularly well organized, thanks to the Home Owner’s Association staff and several volunteers.
The littlest egg hunters were first to fan out across the lawn of the Lodge. Toys and treats were stuffed in the eggs, and the most successful hunters in each age range won an additional prize. Throughout the morning and afternoon, face painting, inflatable slides and hoops, an arts and crafts station, and cookie decorating held the attention of children and parents who were not in search of plastic eggs. Inside the aquatic center, hot dogs, burgers, and drinks were waiting for residents who were ready for a break by the pool.
